Peanut Butter & Bacon Cookies

I have seen peanut butter and bacon dog cookie recipes floating around the internet for a while now and last weekend Toby and I, with the help of my sister Dani, decided to give them a crack. I have to say, the cookies were so easy to make, in very little time. They were also delicious! I may have loved them more than Toby…hey, they are all human ingredients after all 😉

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 2-3 strips bacon, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

1.  Grab the peanut butter, milk and eggs and put them in a large bowl.

2. With a beater, mix them until the mixture is smooth and lump free.

3. Put the flour in and using a whisk, mix until it’s nice and smooth.

4. Add the oats and bacon pieces to the mixture and with a large spoon mix through.

5. The dough will become extremely thick and heavy. Take the dough out of the bowl and roll it into a ball with your hands.

6. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out and cut into shapes using cookie cutters and place onto a tray lined with baking paper.

6. Place them in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Add the flour and mix with a large spoon.

Add the oats and bacon and mix.
