Today is our two year wedding anniversary.
Our wedding day was magical, it didn’t feel like real life, it felt too perfect to be real life.
We got married in Uluwutu and we felt so grateful that 60 of our loved ones made the journey to help us celebrate our love.
Andrew and I got together when we were just kids, at the age of 16. Andrew proposed when we were 21 but it wasn’t until we were 27 that we were able to marry.
A few months after Andrew proposed we found out he got excepted into Dentistry in Adelaide. As I was studying in Melbourne, it was impossible for me to follow him, so for the next 5 years we had to put all wedding plans on hold as we did a 5 year long distance relationship. It was hard but it was also a fun adventure, and looking back I wouldn’t change it for the world.
After Andrew completed his degree, he moved back home to me in Melbourne and we started to think about getting married. It took a few more years for us to get our acts together and finally organise a wedding but it was so worth the wait.
If I could choose one day to relive over and over again, it would be this day, it was so much fun.
Happy Anni Andrew.
