Having a bath with Dr Zoo

Dr Zoo (11)

This year Toby has decided to invest more time into his health. He’s decided to cut down on the amount of cheese he consumes, push himself on his walks and take better care of his skin.

In terms of Toby taking better care of his skin, he has enlisted the help of Dr. Zoo to keep his skin healthy.

Dr. Zoo’s new Natural Soothing Shampoo and Natural Nourishing Conditioner only contain natural and lickable ingredients that are safe and healthy for pets.

I’ll let Toby talk you through his new skin care regime, take it away buddy:

Dr Zoo (1)^ Before I have a bath I really like to admire my new beauty products, it helps me get excited about bath time even though it’s not my favourite activity.

Dr Zoo (10)^ I’m very picky with my products and only choose ones that have my best interests at heart. So the fact the Natural Soothing Shampoo and Natural Nourishing Conditioner only contain natural and lickable ingredients that are safe and healthy for me, is the main reason I wash with Dr. Zoo.

Dr Zoo (8)^ Before I jump into the bath I like to place everything I need in paw’s reach.

Dr Zoo (6)^ My shampoo is made up of a combination of six gentle Coconut and Glucose-based cleansers rather than just one detergent, which can irritate skin. Dr. Zoo’s formula also includes nourishing ingredients such as Aloe Vera to help soothe and calm my skin.

Dr Zoo (4)^ A lot of dog shampoos for dog’s with itchy skin use Colloidal Oatmeal as the main ingredient. However, allergies to oatmeal are quite common, at least in humans, so Dr. Zoo uses rice bran instead. Colloidal Rice Bran is proven to be great at calming delicate skin and is even used by MooGoo for the baby wash. This ingredient is also rich in antioxidants and it acts as a skin protectant.

Dr Zoo (3)^ Sometimes I like to have a bit of a relax as I let the water wash out my shampoo.

Dr Zoo (21)The Conditioner is specially formulated with natural, edible oils like Jojoba Oil that both moisturise the skin and condition the coat. Their Conditioner can also be left on the coat to help the fur and skin absorb the conditioning ingredients.

Dr Zoo (2)^ The thing I like most about the conditioner is that I can experiment with new hairstyles. I have been contemplating this mohawk look for a while now. I just haven’t mustered up the courage to leave the house looking like this.

Dr Zoo (18)^ And this is what I look like when I’ve completed my bath.

Dr Zoo (15)^ One may think I’ve completed my skincare regime, but I haven’t. Next I like to get dry and then give my hair a good brush.

Dr Zoo (12)^ What I love about the Bamboo Grooming Brush is it has two sides, bristle and pin. The pin side is for daily use to remove loose and moulting hair.

Dr Zoo (16)^ And to complete bath time, I use my special ‘Shake it Off’ Shammy just to get extra dry.

Dr Zoo (20)^ And this is what I look like at the end.

Dr Zoo (19)^ Fresh, clean, smelling divine and tangle free.
